Trust is earned, not assumed

Your signatories trust your organisation. VowTerra ensures that trust extends to every digital signature.

How we protect your documents

1

Legally binding signatures

Electronic signatures via VowTerra are legally binding under the UK Electronic Communications Act 2000, EU eIDAS Regulation, and US ESIGN Act. Every signature carries the same legal weight as pen on paper — with a better audit trail.

2

Complete audit trail

Every signature records: who viewed the document, when they consented, what IP address they signed from, which device they used. Timestamped, immutable, and exportable for grant reporting and governance reviews.

3

Document integrity

Every PDF is SHA-256 hashed at upload. The hash is recorded before signing begins. If anyone questions whether a document was altered, you have cryptographic proof it wasn't.

4

UK-hosted infrastructure

Documents are stored on AWS infrastructure in the UK. Encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Your data doesn't leave the country.

5

No tracking, no surveillance

The signing experience uses zero analytics cookies, zero tracking pixels, zero third-party scripts. Your signatories' data stays between your organisation and them. Privacy isn't a feature — it's a principle.

6

Encryption everywhere

TLS 1.3 for all connections. AES-256 for stored documents. AWS KMS for key management. No unencrypted data paths exist in the system.
